About the Role

Description

Environmental Technician – Entry Level | Emergency Response & Industrial Cleaning

Industry: Environmental Services | Industrial Cleaning | Emergency Response

Seeking hardworking individuals to join our Environmental Response Team. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting emergency and non-emergency environmental cleanup, hazardous waste response, site remediation, and industrial equipment cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with hazardous and non-hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination tasks

• Operate or assist with high-pressure water blasting, vacuum trucks, and chemical cleaning equipment

• Load and unload equipment including hoses, tools, and materials

• Perform manual labor in extreme weather conditions, confined spaces, and at heights

• Follow all safety procedures and report to team leads or supervisors

• Maintain and inspect tools, vehicles, and equipment

• Participate in on-the-job training for new crew members

Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL Class A preferred
  • Willingness to work in physically demanding and hazardous environments
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • Experience in construction, landscaping, farming, or similar labor-intensive work is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Confined Space Entry Training
  • Experience with Level D, C & B PPE
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and cleanup procedures
