About the Role

Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Septic Pump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate septic pump trucks at residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. Responsibilities include pumping and servicing septic systems, transporting equipment, operating pumping systems, and ensuring all work is completed in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.


The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and experience operating commercial vehicles and pumping equipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to perform hands on field work in a variety of conditions.
 

Requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL-required pump trucks in accordance with DOT and company regulations
     
  • Transport liquids/materials to and from job sites
     
  • Operate pump systems to load, unload, and transfer materials as required
     
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections
     
  • Monitor pump performance, pressure, and flow rates during operation
     
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and job documentation
     
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel
     
  • Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
     
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies
     

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B, as required) with appropriate endorsements
     
  • Clean or acceptable driving record
     
  • Previous pump truck, oilfield, industrial, or construction experience preferred
     
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
     
  • Ability to operate pumps, hoses, and related equipment
     
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
     
  • Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull hoses and equipment
     
  • Ability to climb, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
     
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug, and alcohol screenings
