About the Role

ibis Budget Auckland Central, located just off Queen Street in the heart of Auckland's CBD, is a compact yet vibrant hotel, positioned close to Auckland's main hub for business, shopping, and dining. The hotel's prime location makes it popular with both short-term corporate travelers and leisure guests, along with residents opting for extended stays. With 144 comfortable rooms, stretched across 18 floors, featuring balconies and kitchenette facilities we are currently recruiting for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Front Office Team.

Job Description

As the Night Auditor for the Front Office team you will:

  • Welcome guests from all corners of the world to our hotel, whilst building relationships with new and regular guests.
  • Manage account queries, perform register audits, close shifts, and process account adjustments.
  • Execute and maintain the Night Audit process, including daily reconciliation of the hotel’s transactions.
  • Compile and distribute daily reports as requested.
  • Provide a smooth arrival and departure to our guests

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotels
  • Previous experience in a hotel auditor role is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a nature that successfully connects with all guests.
  • The right to work in New Zealand
