About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep system-level experience to help strengthen and scale the infrastructure behind our security agent. In this role, you will work closely with multiple teams across the organization, focusing on building robust foundations that support reliability, performance and growth of an already production-proven agent.

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve core infrastructure components of the LayerX security agent
  • Strengthen scalability, reliability and performance of the agent in real-world customer environments
  • Build and evolve communication, update and configuration mechanisms for the agent
  • Work across teams to support agent-related infrastructure needs and long-term scalability efforts
  • Debug complex system-level issues and lead root cause analysis in production-like environments
  • Influence architectural decisions related to agent infrastructure and scale

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production-grade systems or system-level components
  • Proven experience developing agents, daemons or background services
  • Strong understanding of operating system internals and cross-platform system behavior
  • Hands-on experience with Windows internals, including services, processes, permissions and system APIs
  • Experience building scalable, reliable systems that run continuously on customer machines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high ownership mentality

Advantages:

  • Experience with Rust, c/c++/go in real-world, production environments
  • Background in cybersecurity, endpoint security or data protection
  • Experience with performance optimization, concurrency or low-level debugging
