About the Role

What You Will Be Doing

The shortlisted candidate will work with the Manager and Course Chair by providing efficient and effective administrative support to the department.

  • Assist the Course Chair and supervisor in managing and administering academic courses, including course setup and registration.
  • Provide support for examination, assessment, and evaluation matters, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the appointment and deployment of course instructors, and provide academic and administrative support to students.
  • Support the Assistant/Deputy Dean in the planning and development of new postgraduate and CET courses.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as data collation, report preparation, and updating information for stakeholders.
  • Support departmental operations, events, and university-wide initiatives.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills; and a high level of integrity.
