About The Company
IVIX is purpose-built to illuminate financial crime. Founded in 2020 in New York, IVIX is the first AI-powered platform designed specifically for governments to use open-source intelligence (OSINT) to address financial crime at scale. Led by tax, security, and tech experts, we built IVIX in partnership with authorities – for authorities. With turnkey solutions for high-priority use cases such as eCommerce and Cryptocurrency, and powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, IVIX delivers immediately actionable evidence of criminal and civil non-compliance (hiding in plain sight). IVIX is headquartered in the US with global operations, supporting government agencies around the world.
About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced  Group Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in a fast-growing, data-driven environment, with a strong focus on UI platforms and customer-facing enterprise solutions.

This role combines strong technical leadership and people management, with oversight of team leads and multi-disciplinary teams (Frontend / UI, Backend, Data, Infra, QA). The Group Manager will be responsible for delivering end-to-end product capabilities, including scalable and high-quality UI layers, for enterprise and on-prem deployments, under strict SLAs, while collaborating with Product, customers, and cross-functional R&D teams.

About the company

IVIX is the first AI-powered solution designed specifically to address a $20 trillion problem: illuminating the global shadow economy. IVIX leverages Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and highly advanced, cutting-edge technologies to reveal illicit business activity around the world, empowering governments in their mission to fight financial crime and close the tax gap.

IVIX employs a variety of AI tools (deep neural networks, large language models, and predictive modeling) as well as advanced data analytics to rapidly pinpoint large-scale illicit business activity, so government authorities can combat financial crime in the digital age.

Led by security, tech, tax and financial crime experts, and advised by a diverse team of former IRS commissioners, IVIX works with dozens of state and federal governments globally.

About the postion

  • Lead a group of engineering teams with clear technical direction and a strong focus on building high-performing, collaborative teams.
  • Translate product and business goals into executable group-level plans, milestones, and engineering outcomes.
  • Manage and support multiple team leads and senior engineers across domains (Frontend / UI, Backend, Data, Infra, QA).
  • Own delivery for the group’s scope — from design and development through testing, release, and production support in enterprise and on-prem environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, velocity, and efficiency using Agile best practices and data-driven engineering.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of scalable, customer-facing system and UI architectures in collaboration with architects and senior engineers.
  • Balance new feature development with technical debt reduction; lead design reviews and ensure production readiness.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and team leads, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and other R&D teams and colleagues — and engage with customers when needed — to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leadership of at least two engineering teams or team leads.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams in data- and cloud-driven environments.
  • Strong background in backend systems and data platforms, including data pipelines, storage systems, observability, and data quality.
  • Hands-on experience delivering production systems at scale; experience with ML/AI, analytics, or MLOps is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable systems while meeting performance, security, and SLA requirements.
  • Experience working closely with Product and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Strong communication skills in Hebrew and English, with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and growing engineers.
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
