As the Corporate Audit & Quality Review Analyst you will perform external quality and compliance audits of broker transactions and processes ensuring adherence to relevant corporate guidelines, regulations, and best practices to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. You will also Perform Internal underwriting reviews ensuring adherence to relevant corporate guidelines, regulations, and best practices​.

What you will do:

  • ​​Identify, assess, and report on findings of incompleteness and/or in accurate information
  • ​Manage communications with broker contacts before, during, and after the audit
  • ​Providing recommendations on quality of underwriting and effectiveness of key controls
  • ​Re-underwriting, taking appropriate action ​
  • ​​Identify, assess, and report on significant findings and underlying root causes - Documentation, completeness, accurate rating and underwriting 
  • ​communications with broker contacts before, during, and after the audit
  • ​providing recommendations on quality of underwriting and effectiveness of key controls
  • ​Report findings and provide trends 
  • ​Provide practical recommendations and internally proposed mitigating action plans to Managers
  • ​Contribute to the development and execution of the annual broker audit plan 
  • ​Contribute to the continuous improvement of broker audit methodology and processes​
  • ​​Identify, assess, and report on significant findings and underlying root causes
  • ​providing recommendations on quality of underwriting and effectiveness of key controls such as escalations
  • ​Provide recommendations on any training to close gaps​​

What you need to succeed:

  • 5-7 years of personal Lines Underwriting Required
  • 3-5 years of audit experience preferred
  • ​​Strong understanding of Personal Auto and Property Underwriting, including insurance/broker operations, internal controls, and best practices
  • ​Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ​Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to resourcefully gather information, analyze critically, and communicate clearly providing both constructive positive and challenging feedback

The expected base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $117,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.

Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels. During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.
