About The Company
From our humble beginnings over 60 years ago, Alaska Garden & Pet Supply and Alaska Mill Feed and Garden Center has steadily grown into a local company that employs 60 employees. We strive to offer exceptional service, fair prices and an overall good experience for every customer on every visit. These are the core values established by our founders, the Donatello Family. Alaska Garden & Pet Supply currently operates a garden and pet wholesale distribution business; manufacturing facilities for animal feed, fertilizer, ice melt, wild bird seed; and the Alaska Mill & Feed retail store. The Company’s strong emphasis on customer service, quality products (many of which are made in Alaska by Alaska Garden & Pet Supply), and competitive prices have helped cultivate the family-owned business from a very small beginning in one man’s garage to a large, local company that employs over sixty people. We are proud to serve the entire State of Alaska and to be trusted by pet and garden lovers for over 60 years. As of 2016, we are proud to now be employee owned. Alaska Mill Feed and Garden Center is over 10,000-square-feet of retail store space offering the best selection of premium pet food, supplies, treats, toys, beds, pet supplements, and much more. In addition, our store features unique gifts, a wild bird center, a complete garden center, and housewares. Seasonally, we feature pumpkins and fresh cut Christmas trees.
