What You’ll Do

The bartender will prepare drinks for guests and serve them in a professional, courteous and timely manner, all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. You’ll act as an advocate for the bar/restaurant, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve their drinks and food (if applicable).
  • Pour drinks using standard pour according to specifications.
  • Receive and process orders in the POS system with accuracy.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the servers.
  • Clean and empty trash cans as necessary.
  • Fill and clean ice bins.
  • Change kegs, stock beer and wine coolers.
  • Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders and soda guns.
  • Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or rude to other guests.
  • Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
  • Cooperative communication with support crew and management.
  • Operate bar equipment.
  • Unpack deliveries and stock bar.
  • Record accurate tip-out sheets.

What You Bring

  • 1 year of bartending experience is required.
  • Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
  • Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.
  • Basic math skills, able to calculate the correct bill amount and use proper credit card and cash handling procedures.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point of sale system.
  • Restaurant inventory and invoicing software proficiency may be required.
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications (if applicable).
  • Flexible schedule and are able to work weekends, nights, and holidays when needed.

The hourly pay range for this role is USD$8.00 plus gratuities. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, pension, meal per shift, and many other benefits to eligible employees.
