Your Role: 

As a Grapple Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating grapple trucks to collect and transport waste materials. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

  • Operate grapple trucks to collect and transport waste materials from residential, commercial, and industrial sites
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Use hydraulic grapple arms to load and unload waste materials safely and efficiently
  • Ensure the secure transport of waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, including minor repairs and reporting major issues
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Complete and maintain accurate logs and records of routes, collections, and vehicle maintenance

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a grapple truck driver or similar role in the waste management industry
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local geography and road networks
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to operate and maintain waste collection vehicles and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
  • Must be able to safely lift and move 50lbs or more at a time
  • Able to sit in trailer cab for extended periods of time
