About the Role

Description

ObjectiveHealth is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our clinical research team in Richmond, VA. As an integral part of our research efforts, the APP will play a key role in conducting clinical trials and studies under the supervision of the principal investigator.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the principal investigator and research team to develop and implement clinical research protocols in the field of Gastroenterology.
  • Screen and recruit eligible participants for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct patient assessments, collect and record data, and monitor participant progress throughout the study.
  • Administer study interventions, medications, and procedures as outlined in the research protocol.
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding the study procedures, potential risks, and benefits.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and research coordinators, to ensure smooth study operations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience preferably in a research setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and data management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, researchers, and sponsors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and research integrity.
