Location: Various properties in San Diego County
Schedule: On Call | Hours will vary depending on workload and coverage needs
Pay: $20.00 per hour,  Paid Weekly

**Must have reliable transportation, a valid California Driver's License, and proof of vehicle insurance.

What You’ll Do

As a Floater Day Porter, you’ll be On Call to cover properties throughout San Diego County as often as needed; hours will vary on the workload and coverage needs.

  • Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
  • Pick up trash and empty receptacles
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
  • Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
  • Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
  • Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
  • Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor

Always use required safety equipment (we’ve got you covered! 

Requirements

  

? What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
  • Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review
  • Enjoys providing friendly customer service 
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
  • Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)

Physical Requirements:

  • On your feet throughout the shift
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Walking up stairs and large properties regularly
