As part of our strategic expansion in APAC, we are now seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Regional Talent Attraction team.
Based in Taiwan, this role will be responsible for supporting talent acquisition across North Asia spanning Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan, with a strong focus on technical recruitment across Engineering, Automation / Robotics, Manufacturing and IT.
As an internal account manager and strategic advisor for proactive workforce planning and recruiting, you will partner closely with regional business leaders and HR partners to build and maintain strong talent pipelines across multiple functions. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of service excellence while supporting hiring needs across diverse geographies, cultures, and time zones.
As a brand ambassador for Brooks, you will drive the delivery of high‑quality talent while providing proactive, timely communication on search progress. You will serve as a subject matter expert in talent attraction, offering consultative guidance and market insights to hiring leaders across the North Asia region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and select candidates for a wide range of engineering, manufacturing, operations, and technical roles across Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan using diverse and innovative recruitment channels (job boards, social media, job fairs, employee referrals, etc.).
- Partner closely with regional functional leaders and HR partners to understand workforce requirements and align recruitment strategies with business needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with vocational schools, universities, training centers, and other relevant institutions to support proactive and high‑volume hiring.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks; ensure job advertisements are clear, compelling, and compliant with company standards and local labor regulations.
- Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers on market conditions, talent availability, and best practices for hiring across North Asia.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations across supported countries.
- Deliver regular updates and reporting on recruitment activity, pipeline health, and key metrics.
- Partner with internal teams on workforce planning, talent mapping, and broader talent management initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment activities and metrics.
- Support and coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth and consistent candidate experience across regions.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders on new hire documentation, orientation, and regional onboarding requirements.
- Perform other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Degree or Diploma with 7–10 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience (in‑house, agency, or RPO), ideally supporting manufacturing or operations environments.
- Experience supporting multi‑country or regional hiring across Asia is strongly preferred.
- Strong sourcing and research skills, including LinkedIn, Boolean search, X‑ray search techniques, AI‑enabled sourcing tools, and other digital channels.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies; Workday experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of regional employment practices and compliance considerations across North Asia.
- Fluency in Mandarin & English is required (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse, cross‑cultural stakeholders across multiple time zones.
