Effective December 19, 2022, Tyres International, a Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL) subsidiary, will be operating under the trade name Ascenso Tires North America. Since its acquisition by MTPL in 2021, Tyres International has been the exclusive importer of the Ascenso brand to the US and Canada. Moving to Ascenso Tires North America trade name reflects the company’s growth in the last two years since the tie up with Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited and its strategic plan and investment to become a leading tire manufacturer. Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited acquired Tyres International to efficiently bring Ascenso’s innovative and extensive product range of tires to their customers in North America. Ascenso provides premier tires for the following key global segments: Agriculture, Industrial & Construction, Earth Mover, Material Handling and Forestry. They have added more than 350 tire sizes to their portfolio over the last year, offering a wide range of tires across the applications and customizing solutions to suit specific customer requirements or applications.
About the Role

Company Description

Ascenso Tires North America is seeking a qualified sales representative to sell our agriculture, industrial, and construction tires. This territory includes California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Candidates must reside within this territory to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have three or more years of sales experience within the tire industry, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to generate leads, build lasting relationships, and close deals. We’re looking for a quick learner with excellent negotiating skills and the ability to present our products in a compelling, results-driven way.

Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company’s products and services
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
  • Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations
  • Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that goals are being met and company standards are being upheld

Required skills and qualifications

  • Three or more years of sales experience within the tire industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Live in the territory
  • Travel within territory as required

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
