About the Role

Overview

The Client Support Specialist is the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking Behavioral Health and Outreach services. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for clients while handling administrative and clinic support tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
  • Verify insurance eligibility using healthcare portals
  • Check in clients, schedule appointments, and process payments
  • Perform data entry and administrative support for behavioral health programs
  • Assist with clinic operations and office tasks
  • Manage incoming phone calls through the call center

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of front desk experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with medical insurance
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and data privacy
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Professional, friendly, and compassionate attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (highly valued)
  • Experience with Epic (EHR)
