Job Description

The Business Process Officer leads the standardization, streamlining, and continuous improvement of business processes to maximize operational efficiency, drive controls compliance, and elevate process excellence across the organization. Apply proven methodologies to analyze, optimize, and institutionalize robust processes, ensuring consistent execution, accountability, and sustainable strategic impact. Champion a culture of process and controls discipline and excellence by embedding best practices, monitoring performance, and enabling scalable, repeatable processes that support the organization’s strategic objectives.

> Business Process Analysis, Streamlining, Standardization and Optimization

  • Identify business processes across Aboitiz Foods needing standardization, streamlining and improvements . Work with process owners to implement standardized and improved processes.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate non-value-added activities and work with process owners and the IT team.

  • Apply proven methodologies and tools in identifying opportunities and analyzing business processes for streamlining, standardization and optimization.

  • Lead the conduct of  cross-functional workshops  that will  optimize end-to-end process efficiency.

  • Benchmark best practices and analyze opportunities to apply in processes across  Aboitiz Foods.

>Building a Culture of Compliance and Process Discipline

  • Promote consistent adherence to standardized processes, procedures, and internal controls across all levels of the organization.

  • Lead awareness and capability-building initiatives to embed understanding of process standards, compliance expectations, and process discipline.

  • Encourage a mindset of accountability and continuous improvement while reinforcing adherence to established processes and controls.

  • Develop and implement process engagement programs that will enable institutionalization of  process discipline and culture and achieving process excellence.

  • Conduct training and workshops that aim to drive capability and culture of process and control discipline.

  • Measure, monitor , analyze and report progress of Internal Control Maturity Journey as well as the Process Excellence journey anchored in APQC (American Productivity and Quality Center).

  • Serve as a role model and advocate for process excellence, driving behavioral change and fostering a culture where discipline and compliance are integral to daily operations.

 

> Business Process Collaboration and Governance

  • Partner with business units, operations, and support functions to ensure alignment and adoption of standardized processes.

  • Establish metrics and governance mechanisms to track process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with Continuous Improvement and Innovation teams to implement process efficiency improvements.  

> Other Tasks

  • Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility,  risk management etc. 

  • Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Accountancy or any equivalent course.
  • Related experience in Business Process, Lean Six Sigma or any equivalent process, systems and continuous improvement areas
  • Preferably with Lean Six Sigma Certification or Business Process Certification
