As Santen Asia continues to grow and expand its business, we are looking for a talented individual to join us as a Regional Commercial Execution Executives, Asia. 

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the Regional Commercial Execution Executive is responsible for driving Digital- and AI-enabled Commercial Execution across Asia, ensuring that PDCA management is powered by data, analytics, and AI insights rather than manual reporting.

The role focuses on translating digital signals into execution decisions, embedding AI-supported insights into PDCA cycles, and improving the speed, quality, and impact of commercial performance management.

Job Description

What you will do

  1. Lead Regional Digital Transformation: Drive practical execution of digital initiatives in Commercial Excellence, focusing on AI-enabled use cases rather than system development.
  2. Generate AI-Driven Insights: Leverage CRM, BI, and advanced analytics to detect performance drivers, early warning signals, and HCP engagement quality.
  3. Operationalize Digital PDCA: Transform the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle into a data-driven management process using digital evidence instead of manual reporting.
  4. Monitor Execution Quality: Track leading indicators and execution effectiveness to shift performance discussions from "what happened" to "why it happened."
  5. Govern Orchestrated KPIs: Ensure sales, marketing, and omnichannel KPIs are consistently defined, digitally traceable, and linked to commercial outcomes.
  6. Drive Strategic Corrective Actions: Translate complex digital outputs into actionable "so-what" insights to support regional and country-level decision-making.
  7. Build Digital Capabilities: Develop playbooks and training to promote a mindset shift toward AI tool utilization and insight-led execution discipline.
  8. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, and IT teams to align data insights with practical commercial priorities.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, or business  is required; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, sales operations, analytics, or digital execution roles
  • Regional exposure in Asia preferred
  • Experience supporting digital or AI-enabled initiatives is highly desirable

Functional & Digital requirements: 

Strong understanding of:

  • Commercial Excellence and PDCA frameworks
  • Digital transformation concepts in pharma commercial execution
  • KPI-based performance management
  • Solid analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Practical experience with CRM, BI, and AI-enabled analytics platforms
  • Ability to apply AI insights to execution decisions, not technical development
