Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant (UK- Based, Remote)

We work with housing providers across the UK to digitally transform the way they manage their homes, tenants, and services.</div><div>We're an engaged and collaborative team, and we're looking for someone who shares that spirit.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>The Role</strong></div><div>This is a client-facing consultancy role at the heart of our delivery practice. You'll become a product expert in iProperty Cloud and act as the primary bridge between our clients and our technical team- leading workshops, uncovering requirements, and helping clients get the most from our solution.</div><div>You won't be writing code, but will have plenty of hands- on opportunity to configure and customise solutions. Your craft is understanding client needs by facilitating structured conversations, asking the right questions, and translating those needs into clear, actionable requirements for clients and colleagues.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></div><ul><li>Leading client workshops to demonstrate iProperty Cloud, walk clients through existing functionality, and facilitate structured conversations that uncover how the product fits their needs.</li><li>Identifying gaps between what the product currently does and what a client needs, and clearly documenting those findings for the wider team.</li><li>Eliciting and capturing requirements through confident, inquisitive engagement- challenging assumptions, digging beneath the surface, and ensuring nothing important gets missed.</li><li>Collaborating with our technical team to define and scope small changes and configurations, translating business needs into clear, well-structured briefs that developers can act on.</li><li>Configuring Dynamics 365 CE/CRM using low-code/no-code tools to tailor solutions to client needs- this is functional configuration work, not pro-code development.</li><li>Supporting clients through onboarding, including functional training, data preparation guidance, testing development and client specific requirements to make sure they fulfil the project brief, and being a trusted point of contact during delivery.</li><li>Working autonomously on projects, managing your own time and priorities whilst staying aligned with your Project Manager and broader delivery team.</li><li>Keeping up to date with the latest Dynamics 365 CE/CRM features and Power Platform capabilities relevant to our product and clients.</li></ul><div><strong>What you need to succeed</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Essential</strong></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li style="color:black;">Strong, proven knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM: you understand the platform deeply and can configure it confidently without needing a developer's help for routine customisation.</li><li style="color:black;">Excellent consultancy and communication skills: lead workshops with confidence, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li style="color:black;">Curiosity and willingness to learn: you proactively seek out answers, ask considered questions and validate your understanding rather than making assumptions.</li><li style="color:black;">Proactive and autonomous: you take ownership of your work, manage your time well, and use your initiative to move things forward.</li><li style="color:black;">Strong analytical thinking: you can listen, synthesise, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions.</li><li style="color:black;">Clear written communication: you can produce well-structured requirement documents, gap analyses, and briefs that others can act on with confidence.</li></ul><div><strong>Highly Desirable</strong></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li style="color:black;">Experience in the UK housing sector: whether that's working within a housing association, local authority, or for a supplier serving the sector. If you understand the day-to-day realities of housing management, that's a real advantage.</li><li style="color:black;">Familiarity with Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI- and how they integrate within a Dynamics 365 solution.</li><li style="color:black;">Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.</li><li style="color:black;">Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. MB-210 or equivalent).</li></ul><div><strong>A Note on Housing Experience</strong></div><div>We recognise that not every great consultant will come with a housing background and that's absolutely fine. What matters most is how quickly you can build understanding in a new domain by asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully to clients, and respecting their expertise.
