About the Role

Description

Shook & Stone is seeking a driven Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload and deliver strong results for our injured clients. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants a path to long-term success and growth inside a top Nevada firm!
 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of workers compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend hearings and mediations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
  •  Maintain consistent client communication and case strategy execution

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • 2+ years of Workers Compensation Law experience is preferred but not required.
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (DOE)
