The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, established in 1972, is the oldest of the 15 community health centers in the state and the largest employer on the Waiʻanae coast. About the Role
 

POSITION SUMMARY:


This is an entry level clinical position for motivated individuals with limited dental knowledge or experience. Successful retention is dependent on meeting time sensitive performance benchmarks that demonstrate acquisition of clinical training.  Under direct supervision of the Dental Team Leader, this position primarily supports the dentist and/or dental hygienist in the performance of infection control protocols and when necessary, general dental chairside procedures.  The individual is expected to possess the cognitive skills and resourcefulness to quickly learn and perform all services in accordance with established protocols and within predetermined training timelines. Work behavior should demonstrate an ability to work cooperatively with other members and punctual/ reliable attendance.




EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 


1.  High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2.  Driver’s license preferred
