Willamette Family is looking for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Withdrawal Management and residential treatment in our Buckley Program.

Position Overview:

Join our dedicated team as a  Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), providing direct client care in a medically monitored, 24/7 detoxification center and residential unit. This role supports individuals through the withdrawal process in a compassionate, structured, and clinically supervised environment. Our facility serves 55 beds, offering increased opportunities for impactful care. 


Position: Hiring for Part-time

Employment Type: Employee (W-2), Hourly, Non-Exempt

Shift and Schedule: Monday through Friday; 20 hours a week

Compensation: Depends on experience


Qualifications  

  • Current Nurse Practitioner License with Prescriptive Authority as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing 
  • Current Oregon License as Registered Nurse
  • National Board of Certification within the specialty 
  • NPI number 
  • Drug Enforcement Administration license for prescription of controlled substances 
  • Current CPR certification 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen(s)
  • The Practitioner may provide a wide range of health care services, including the diagnosis and management of acute, chronic and complex health problems; health promotion; disease prevention; health education; and counseling to individuals, families, groups and communities. Interventions are based upon established priorities and consistent with the Practitioner’s specialized education and clinical practice. 
  • Practitioners blend the scientific process, current evidence and national standards of care with a holistic approach to manage patient care and foster professional practice. The Practitioner, together with the patient and care teams, establishes an evidence-based, mutually acceptable, cost-conscious, effective plan of care that maximizes health potential.
