About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Revenue Cycle Management. The Billing Services Manager is responsible for the oversight and collection of all third party and self-pay accounts receivable, keeping the days in AR within set guidelines. This Management position is also responsible for training and providing support to all Patient Account Representative (PAR) staff while ensuring adherence to benchmarks, policies and procedures. 


Education/Experience: 

1.  High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical setting, knowledge and experience working AR with third party insurance and FQHC billing and follow up required

3.  Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required

4.  Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 required

5.  Experience in Electronic Practice Management/Medical Records system required (Nextgen preferred)
