What you’ll be responsible for

 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Resource Recovery you will lead the NSW team and:

  • Ensure a high level of safety operations, positive environmental outcomes, business growth and profitability

  • Provide strategic input and leadership to the RR business and customers

  • Contribute to ongoing innovation and continuous improvement

  • Prepare economic models, business cases and investment papers

  • Own the consultation process with internal and external stakeholders, planning authorities and regulators

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Demonstrable leadership experience in managing and developing a waste, resource recovery or organics business

  • Strong understanding of the market and political context

  • Previous experience with feasibility and due diligence of opportunities

  • Commercially astute with the ability to articulate your vision and influence key decision makers

  • Experience in managing and augmenting a portfolio of assets within NSW

  • Degree qualified in engineering or business or a related field
