Security Requirement:

· A SECRET security clearance is required.


 Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Use government computers and phones to receive vehicle and equipment requests from personnel. 
  • Schedule, assign, check out and recover vehicle assets at assigned dispatching site for use and maintenance. 
  • Follow/be in compliance with command established priorities for equipment issue. 
  • Use commercial software system (Asset Works FA Suite Fleet Focus) to manage vehicle requests placed by government personnel. 
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite, or compatible programs, for purposes of creating reports, tracking status of equipment, and preparing administrative correspondence. 
  • Communicate directly with individuals requesting transportation support to understand full requirement and ensure vehicle type matches requirement. 
  • Ensure equipment is recalled when maintenance is due, communicate with maintenance shop on availability, ensure vehicle damage documented, communicate operator concerns on mechanical readiness, and participate in periodic fleet inventories. 
  • Prepare and send emails to individuals and groups detailing planning informing customers of vehicle allocation decisions. 
  • Build a good communication network to effectively distribute equipment and reallocate equipment based on changing priorities with a goal to maximize effective usage of fleet. 
  • Assist with collection of fuel receipts, collect information for the annual Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) due to GSA at the end of each fiscal year. 
  • Assist in collection and analysis of operational data during annual Logistics Management Assessments and Inspections (LMA / LMI). 
  • Ensure hazardous materials are stored and documented properly, Track inventory to provide timely information on restocking and determine correct amount of onsite material required to support both craft and vehicle maintenance. 

Requirements: 

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license from their state of residency to operate motor vehicles 
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience entering data, generating asset tracking and production reports. 
  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using Asset Works FA Suite Fleet Focus data management program or similar fleet management software. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in hazardous materials handling.
