The Role
As the Social Media Manager, you are the creative spark and the voice of Artlist in the places where creatives talk, such as X, LinkedIn, Threads, and Reddit. You are a generative AI maven who understands that our industry is in a massive state of transition. Our goal is to build Artlist as the top brand bringing AI production level creation at scale to creatives everywhere. You aren’t here to just post content: you are here to start and drive the daily conversation. We are looking for an idea machine who can harness different stakeholders and bridge the gap between culture and brand, turning inspiration into execution in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

- Spot the spark and flip it. Scroll with a creative lens to find cool reels, new styles, or trending topics and instantly adapt them for Artlist.
- Start the daily conversation. Run the day to day presence on text first platforms and start discussions that creatives actually want to join.
- Sync with Paid Media. Partner with paid campaign managers to identify high performing organic content and align messaging for optimized spending.
- Direct our AI flows. React to industry shifts and AI breakthroughs with smart, helpful posts that explain why they matter to our community.
- Manage content operations. Own the day to day lifecycle of content and maintain a calendar that ensures consistent, error free execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders. Work as a main partner with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure brand consistency across company goals.
- Audit and optimize. Conduct regular audits of our channels and the competitive landscape to provide actionable recommendations for growth and retention.
- Write and execute for the scroll. Write punchy copy and scripts for everything from multi post threads to video text overlays.
- Listen and report back. Be the bridge between our users and our product by bringing community feedback and ideas back to the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing social communities or editorial content, preferably within a creative SaaS company.
- Generative AI Maven. Deep understanding of AI tools and the impact they have on the future of the creative industry.
- Portfolio. Examples of campaigns or posts where you took an idea and successfully adapted it to a brand voice.
- Platform Expert. Proficient in social management and analytical tools like Sprout Social, Later, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel.
- Collaboration as a virtue. Proven ability to harness stakeholders and work effectively across multiple teams.
- A natural writer. Native level English speaker who can explain complex things simply and write high engagement hooks.
