Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Breakfast & Afternoon Tea Supervisor to lead the delivery of refined, memorable dining experiences within one of our most elegant outlets. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation and guest care.
With a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail, you will guide and inspire the team, ensuring every guest experience reflects the warmth, sophistication and excellence expected within a five-star setting.
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the restaurant during shifts, allocating duties, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth operations.
Oversee and orchestrate the service of food and beverages, anticipating guest needs and responding positively to special requests.
Motivate, train, and lead the team, fostering a professional and positive working environment.
Attend to all guest requests with professionalism, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
Delegate effectively, ensuring every table is attended to with care, efficiency and impeccable timing
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring the outlet is always beautifully set and service-ready
- Uphold and embed all service standards, including LQA and Fairmont brand expectations
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Outlet Manager with recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training, helping to build a strong and engaged team
- Contribute to CES (Colleague Engagement Survey) initiatives, driving team morale and a culture of continuous improvement
- Champion brand values in everything you do, acting as a role model for service excellence
- Provide flexible support across the outlet and wider property as required
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within Food & Beverage (restaurant, lounge, or afternoon tea service).
Strong background in delivering high-end guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.
Experience managing and motivating a team, including training and performance development.
Confident in handling guest complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
