About the Role

DeliverIt Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable IV Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support our growing Infusion & Specialty Pharmacy team.


This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in precision, understands the importance of sterile compounding standards, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced healthcare environment. 


You’ll play a critical role in preparing medications that directly impact patient care and treatment outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards 
  • Perform aseptic technique within laminar airflow workbenches and cleanroom environments 
  • Assist pharmacists with infusion therapies, specialty medications, and hazardous drug handling (as applicable) 
  • Accurately label, document, and verify compounded preparations 
  • Maintain compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations 
  • Support inventory management of medications, supplies, and compounding materials 
  • Process prescriptions and third-party insurance claims as needed 
  • Communicate professionally with providers, patients, and internal care teams 
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready pharmacy environment 
  • Follow established SOPs and contribute to continuous workflow improvement

Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Texas 
  • IV certification or sterile compounding training 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to follow SOPs and compliance protocols 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Professional communication skills 
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality 

Preferred

  • 1+ year sterile compounding experience in infusion, hospital, or specialty pharmacy 
  • Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 standards 
  • Experience with pharmacy management systems such as WellSky CareTend and/or CPR+ 
  • Experience with prescription processing, claims, and inventory workflows  
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, Arabic, French, Vietnamese, Hindi, Gujarati, and/or Urdu) 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
  • Ability to sit intermittently throughout the day 
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb, and squat frequently 
  • Ability to type and use a computer regularly  
  • Ability to speak on the telephone  
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 40 lbs. 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
