About the Role

Job Description

The Compliance Manager plays a critical role on the HR Team in supporting and strengthening SIXT’s compliance framework. This role is responsible for managing compliance case administration, supporting policy development, and conducting audits and monitoring activities to ensure adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. 

 

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT 

  • Compliance Case Management (NAVEX) You own the administration, review, investigation support, and timely closure of compliance cases in NAVEX ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and audit-ready documentation 
  • Policy Development & Governance You lead the review, development, and maintenance of compliance and employment-related policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices 
  • Audit & Monitoring Excellence You conduct compliance audits and ongoing monitoring activities to assess adherence to policies and regulations, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions 
  • Compliance Communication & Training Support You lead compliance communications and training initiatives, including owning OSHA compliance reporting and tracking employee acknowledgements while reinforcing awareness of policies and updates 
  • Risk Identification & Reporting You analyze trends from compliance cases, audits, and monitoring activities; prepare summaries and insights to support risk mitigation and continuous improvement 
  • Cross-Functional Partnership You collaborate with Legal, People & Culture, HR, and business leaders to support investigations, policy implementation, and compliance initiatives 

 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER  

 

  • Experience You have 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Compliance, Risk Management, Legal Operations, Internal Audit, or a related discipline within complex, multi-site, or regulated organizations 
  • Compliance Case Management Expertise You possess proven experience managing end-to-end compliance cases and investigations using NAVEX or comparable ethics and compliance platforms 
  • Policy Governance & Development You have demonstrated ability to lead the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-wide compliance policies and standards 
  • Audit & Risk Management You have strong background in designing and executing compliance audits, monitoring programs, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory and policy adherence 
  • Judgment & Executive Presence You have exceptional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive matters, with the credibility to influence senior leaders and navigate ambiguity 
  • Communication & Stakeholder Partnership You have advanced written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of partnering effectively across Legal, HR, People & Culture, and business leadership
