The Role

Specialized in managing physical, virtual, and cloud-based data storage infrastructure for Distributed, AS400 and Mainframe environments, ensuring its security, availability, and performance. Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining storage hardware and software, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, managing storage allocation, and providing technical support and architectural advisory. Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.


Who You Are

Required Technical Expertise

- Storage and SAN Infrastructure Administration on Distributed, AS400 and Mainframe environments

- Storage and SAN Solutions Design and Architecture

Technical and Professional Experience

- Administration of Storage (NAS, Block) and SAN fabrics infrastructures (Hitachi, HPE, IBM, NetApp, Brocade, CISCO)

- Support storage for Distributed, AS400 and Mainframe environments

- Assist clients defining architectures by selecting, implementing, and supporting new infrastructures

- Development in scripting and automation

- Maintenance, configuration, tuning and update of Disk / SAN systems and subsystems

- Monitoring of Storage infrastructures and SAN fabrics (availability; capacity; forecast)

- Maintenance of systems compliance based on Kyndryl security policies

- Response to incidents and service requests directed at a ticketing tool provided by Kyndryl

- Perform activities on Kyndryl Data Centers that requires local intervention (HW installation, Cabling certification)

- Provide a 24x7 prevention service according to a scale with possible travel needs to the data center

- Fluent in write and speak english and portuguese languages
