About the Role

Description </strong></p><p>Our client, a metal manufacturing company, is searching for a Sr. Project Engineer to join their innovative, growing team in the United States. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, controls, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of ensuring electrical equipment reliability, driving process improvements, and supporting safe, high-quality manufacturing operations. Their footprint continues to expand with multiple locations across the US after strong investment from their overseas parent company. This facility is introducing new manufacturing processes, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a plant that is actively scaling and modernizing. If you’re looking for long-term stability, meaningful work, and the chance to make a real impact in an industry that continues to see strong demand, this could be a great next step.</p><p><strong>Senior Project Engineer - Electrical & Controls (industrial automation exp. req.) Responsibilities </strong></p><p>• Program and troubleshoot PLCs <br>• Lead projects, including scope, budget, and execution <br>• Specify, set up, and troubleshoot VFDs, DC drives, and motor control centers<br>• Develop and support preventative maintenance programs <br>• Perform root-cause analysis of electrical downtime using diagnostic tools<br>• Ensure compliance with arc flash, coordination studies, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70B <br>• Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA systems, MES interfaces, and data historians<br>• Travel up to 10% (domestic) to evaluate new equipment needs <br>• Assist with after-hours technical support as needed <br>• Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement</p><p><strong>Senior Project Engineer - Electrical & Controls (industrial automation exp. req.) Qualifications </strong></p><p>• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience required <br>• Strong background managing industrial automation projects required <br>• PLC programming experience required <br>• Relocation required to Northeastern Texas </p>
