About The Company
Fountain Head offers Hagerstown’s only full service family oriented private country club. We focus on providing a comfortable environment where you can relax, socialize, entertain, and enjoy the best golf, pool, tennis, and social amenities in the area. We have one of the finest Donald Ross golf courses in the state of Maryland. It has often been referred to as a “Hidden Gem”. The course is defined by tree lined fairways and small undulating greens placing a premium on positioning and imagination. Fountain Head also offers first-class fitness, swimming, and tennis facilities for the entire family. During the summer months we have a large swimming area complete with an adult pool and diving board, baby pool, lounge area, and snack bar. Our certified lifeguard staff is on duty during all times the pool is open. Join the swim team, register for swim lessons or attend a pool event. Fountain Head's tennis program features outstanding facilities and instructional programs to accommodate players of all abilities and ages from the middle of April through the end of September. There are always fun events planned at the clubhouse and many activities to keep you and your family busy throughout the year! Fountain Head’s restaurant provides members with a fine dining experience. The highly-skilled culinary staff is led by Executive Chef Todd Reynolds with over 35 years’ experience. The club is famous for its seafood and perfectly-prepared meats and poultry. Lunch and dinner are served daily (except Mondays when the clubhouse is closed) and breakfast on weekends. You can reserve the Ballroom for special events - personal or business. Customize a menu and accommodate up to 300 guests, perfect for weddings or smaller events like company seminars and training. JOB SUMMARY

Attends to the service needs of club patrons in event and dining areas in a courteous manner according to Company standards.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
  2. Take, prepare, and deliver drink and food orders for customers.
  3. Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the event and dining areas.
  4. Assists the chef with food preparation as required.
  5. Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.
  6. Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
  7. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
  8. Enters patron’s orders into the computer, verify accuracy of order, collect payment when finished.
  9. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
  10. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  11. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  2. Good oral communication skills.
  3. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.
  4. Able to obtain a food handler’s permit or certification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. Previous experience in food service preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%
  • Standing and walking 50-75%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-25%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
