Job Description

  1. Position Summary:

Rixos Phu Quoc, Vietnam is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage the Sales team. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, maximizing revenue, and maintaining strong client relationships to achieve business targets. This role plays a vital part in positioning the property in the market, driving profitability, and leading a high-performing sales department.

  1. Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business goals to drive revenue growth across all market segments.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the Sales team. Set performance goals, monitor results, and conduct regular coaching to foster high productivity.

Revenue Generation: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts in line with revenue targets.

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organizers to drive repeat business.

Budget Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget, forecast, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and return on investment.

Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and support of promotional initiatives.

• Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for senior management review.

Event Representation: Represent the property at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.

Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of CRM and sales management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, strong communications with headquarter and other Rixos properties.

Sustainability: Commit to and maintain sustainable practices by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives. Align with the hotel's broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives to drive positive impact across all pillars of sustainability.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure full compliance with local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, ISO standards, and industry best practices. Continuously review and update operational processes to ensure alignment with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.

Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations by overseeing proper purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation practices across all departments.
