We're looking for a Senior Video Editor

As a Senior Video Editor, you are the lead storyteller in post-production, responsible for shaping the project's final narrative and overseeing the entire editing process. You guide the creative direction of the edit, manage the post-production workflow, and ensure the final product exceeds creative and technical expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Shape the Narrative: Take the lead in defining the creative direction of the edit, making critical decisions about story structure, pacing, tone, and emotional impact.
  • Oversee Post-Production Workflow: Manage the entire editing process from the initial rough cut to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Lead and Mentor Editors: Supervise and mentor Video Editors and Assistant Editors, providing clear creative guidance, technical assistance, and constructive feedback on their work.
  • Quality Control: Act as the final checkpoint for all video content, conducting comprehensive reviews for narrative cohesion, technical quality, and brand alignment before client delivery.
  • Collaborate with Department Leads: Work closely with department leads to ensure a unified and high-quality final product

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mass Communication or any related field
  • At least From 3- 5 years of  experience in working in the same position
  • Previous Experience in Marketing & Advertising Agencies is a must
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English in both verbal and writing
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office and Adobe Premiere and After Effects tools
  • Strong Interpersonal, time and project management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Creativity and ability to delegate responsibilities
  • Receptiveness to feedback and adaptability

  • Work location: Maadi/Cairo 
  • Working Days/Hours: Sunday (Fixed Work From Home Day), From Monday to Thursday 10:00AM to 6:00PM or 11:00AM to 7:00PM
