Job Description

As an FY26 NCG_QE FDC ENGINEER at Micron, you will have the outstanding chance to collaborate with a world-class team in Taiwan. You will develop and maintain Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) strategies. This position is vital to keeping our semiconductor manufacturing processes flawless, efficient, and innovative.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Maintain and improve Fault Detection and Classification systems for Semiconductor Manufacturing Facilities.
  • Identify and manage FDC dependencies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and improve FDC standards to strictly align with quality and yield targets.
  • Test and successfully implement system changes and improvements.
  • Manage controlled modifications using Change Management methodologies.
  • Deploy and maintain FDC strategies using AMAT E3 to minimize risks of excursion and scrap.
  • Troubleshoot strategy, tool, and system-related issues, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Monitor FDC strategy performance, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
  • Follow global FDC guidelines, business rules, and change management procedures.
  • Align and share FDC strategy guidelines with worldwide counterparts.
  • Actively participate in daily tactical meetings, interacting with customers to explore and promote the use of FDC data.
  • Evaluate and monitor user lists for program access, ensuring compliance with product integrity and intellectual property standards.

Project Planning

  • Act as a liaison between information systems, production area management, and engineering management concerning FDC.
  • Anticipate and diagnose automation issues across various equipment types within manufacturing areas.
  • Participate in projects impacting both site-wide and global scales, driving innovation and efficiency.
