Shipping and Receiving Coordinator/ M-F Day shift!

Description
The primary focus of the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is to oversee the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures that all orders are properly packed, labeled, documented, and shipped according to company standards and customer requirements. The coordinator maintains communication with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues, track shipments, and ensure materials are received and distributed efficiently. (this is a working lead/coordinator)
- Unpack incoming cases, identify and inspect all items on each RX form
- Inspect completed cases for all necessary items/products and materials.
- Prepare and affix proper labels for best shipping method
- Inspect package labels and shipping method to ensure best value and delivery needs are going to be met prior to shipping package.
- Securely pack and ship completed cases.
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to meet customer deadlines.
- Schedule, track, and audit incoming and outgoing shipments; ensure secure packing, accurate labeling, and compliance with Dental Crafters Network standards.
- Oversee order accuracy, case logging, scanning, and disinfection processes in Labtrac.
- Lead and flex labor between shipping, receiving, and digital receiving is needed to maintain workflow.
- Train, coach, and motivate Shipping and Receiving Technicians; assist employees in resolving problems and meeting goals.
- Foster clear communication across teams and lead by example through our values.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment; ensure equipment and areas follow established cleaning schedules.
- Manage shipping manifests, supply inventory, and related documentation to support on-time, accurate deliveries.
- Partner with manager on employee reviews and performance development.
Requirements
Education - High school degree or equivalent
Skills and Abilities – Must possess the skills needed to plan, organize, direct, train and motivate employees to ensure the potential for further advancement. Must be able to work independently to organize tasks and manage the workload. Possess the ability to manage change, interruptions, and the unpredictable nature of production to be successful in this position.
*Candidate must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. Work is not sedentary.
