Global Housing Manager

Your Role:
This role is responsible for delivering Global Housing strategies, overseeing, and optimizing student housing experiences from student arrival to departure.
The Global Housing Manager focuses on the student experience, ensuring the effective delivery of great core housing services for our students. Working with local teams, establishing housing service standard procedures, policies, and enhancing housing services.
This role is crucial in ensuring that CEACAPA students have access to safe, high-quality housing, that enhances their overall educational experience. By effectively managing housing operations, policies, and services, this role contributes directly to student satisfaction and the operational success of CEA CAPA.
This role can be performed remotely from Italy, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Ireland or the UK for candidates with the proper work authorization. While we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, we welcome applicants who are already authorized to work in these countries to join our team from wherever they work best!
What You’ll Do:
Housing Services & Best Practices
- Support the development and implementation of best housing practices, helping promote a consistent approach to student housing management across locations
- Support the implementation of CEA CAPA housing inclusions
- Assist with continuous improvements to the student housing experience and support day-to-day housing operations of local Housing Coordinators, helping identify efficiencies and opportunities to standardize processes across sites
- Participate in and support working groups focused on identifying and replicating effective housing procedures (e.g. housing allocations, check-in/check-out processes, student orientation, maintenance issue management, provider relations and rapport-building, etc.)
- Contribute to service enhancements based on student feedback, ensuring housing services meet or exceeds expectations
- Collaborate with Student Services teams to integrate housing support with broader student care initiatives, including health, safety, and cultural adaptation.
- Support inclusive and equitable housing services that address diverse student needs, working with teams to promote Access, Opportunity, and Inclusion in housing policies and practices
- Support the management and tracking of housing-related cases within the database, assisting with compliance monitoring, trend tracking, and the preparation of summaries and case examples for shared learning and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Finance teams to support the timely publication of housing supplemental fees and assist with compiling reports track year-over-year trends in supplemental fee revenue
- Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for Global Housing operations processes, and assist with training and knowledge sharing with Local Housing Teams as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the timely upload of housing inventory and delivery of Placement Letters
Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate and document regular meetings with Housing Coordinators to support accountability, clear communication, and smooth operations across all housing services.
- Work closely with the Senior Global Housing Manager to support projects, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support community-building within the Housing Coordinator network through regular communication and collaboration initiatives
- Collaborate with Institutional Relations, Enrollment, and Communications team to support alignment of housing services and standards, and provide input on service-related or standards-related topics as needed
- Work collaboratively with cross functional internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and student services teams, to support alignment of housing operations with CEA CAPA’s goals
- Organize and maintain resources within the Microsoft Teams channel, ensuring materials remain easily accessible and up to date for all team members
- Collaborate with Marketing and Enrollment teams to support proactive student communication efforts, helping ensure housing-related web content and advising materials clearly set student expectations and follow established guidance
- Collect and share positive housing experiences and success stories to help highlight the impact of housing services for internal and external stakeholders
Housing Student Services
- Support the definition and delivery of Residence Life services and amenities for CEA CAPA
- Collaborate with relevant teams to define learning objectives for student housing, contributing to an educational and enriching residential experience
Housing Policies and Compliance
- Support the development and maintenance of global housing policies to promote consistency, quality, and compliance with local regulations
- Assist with monitoring adherence to Health & Safety standards in all student housing, working closely with local housing teams to help address any issues.
- Support local housing teams in implementing global housing policies, helping adapt processes to local housing regulations and requirements as needed
- Monitor Salesforce housing case management and support coordination with the Senior Global Housing Manager and other teams in resolving student concerns, including facilities issues, complaints, and refund requests
- Assist with auditing housing costs, supporting alignment of housing tier pricing and supplemental fees to help maintain housing margin goals
What Makes a Great Candidate:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the location of the role.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in housing operations, property management, or global coordination.
- Proven record of accomplishment in data-driven decision-making and developing housing policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and/or compliance frameworks.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams across multiple locations and time zones.

- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working in a multicultural environment, with the ability to tailor communication and training styles to different audiences
- Proficiency in data collection methodologies and tools (surveys, interviews, data scraping, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in analyzing datasets and interpreting data and trends to inform decision-making
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation skills with the ability to create visually compelling and informative presentations
- Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected, analysed, and presented
- Strong focus on quality control and the validation of data sets to ensure reliable results
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with the US Higher Education system.
- Experience in education abroad, student housing, or the international program sector.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
- Experience in working with diverse identities.
- Fluence in English (both written and verbal) is required, with proficiency in at least one additional language (i.e. Spanish, French, Italian) is strongly preferred.
