Head Coach | Men's Volleyball

Position Overview:
The Men’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading and developing a competitive NCAA men’s volleyball program at Misericordia University. This role includes coaching and mentoring student‑athletes, recruiting qualified prospective students, planning and conducting practices, and managing game preparation and competition. The coach supports the academic and personal success of student‑athletes, upholds NCAA and University policies, and fosters a program culture that reflects Misericordia’s mission, values, and commitment to sportsmanship and excellence.
The role also includes athletic event management responsibilities outside the traditional volleyball season, assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of home athletic contests and special events to ensure a positive and well‑organized game‑day environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
- One to two years previous coaching experience and/or training and competitive background indicative of the ability to coach successfully in a NCAA Division III liberal arts college environment.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current and valid driver’s license.
Work Related Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations.
