HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION SYSTEM (HRIS) WORKDAY SPECIALIST

1) JOB DESCRIPTION
Required to administer and maintain the HCM systems, including payroll systems and ensures their continuous improvement, including overseeing the automation, system upgrades/patches, integration and configuration of HCM and Payroll software.
Develops, documents and maintains efficient and compliant business process workflows and SOPs for the HRIS, and ensures comprehensive internal control is implemented within the existing processes and any new ones.
Gathers and analyses data to enhance the HR strategies and processes, offering recommendations to improve functional productivity and streamline workflows within the HR department.
Ensuring all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws and responsible to upholding data accuracy in systems.
Maintains and administers existing/ad hoc reports for users. Creates reports and queries by composing, upkeeping, and providing support for a diverse range of reports or queries employing suitable reporting tools. Contributes to the formulation of standardized reports to meet continuous customer requirements.
Collaborates with cross-functional/technical and translates functional requirements of HR team and IT technical tech requirements of GTS team.
Act as the go-to person to address HRIS-related issues, enhancements and queries and actively identifies and resolves issues or opportunities for enhancing user experience for HCM and Payroll software. Listens attentively to customer needs and communicates complex technical issues and solutions in a clear and understandable manner, using plain and descriptive language.
Engages in effective communication with project teams, clients and vendors if required.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, functional guidelines and documentation.
2) JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Proficient knowledge and experience in working with Workday HCM and Payroll systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to effectively communicate information to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated capability to manage workload efficiently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Proven experience in HR or IT administration roles.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Active listening abilities, enabling a comprehensive understanding of others' perspectives and needs.
Proficient in conducting research and identifying emerging trends in the HRIS industry, applying them appropriately within the organisation.
