About the Role

Description

The Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to the SC EPSCoR Director and team. This role is critical to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
  • Provide direct support to the SC EPSCoR Director by maintaining calendars, organizing meetings, and preparing agendas, materials and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate meetings for State and Executive Committees, external advisory boards, and leadership teams.
  • Plan and execute the annual SC EPSCoR state conference, including scheduling, vendor coordination, materials preparation, and hotel/travel arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, including annual reports to NSF.
  • Plan and coordinate events, travel arrangements, and logistics.
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of administrative support experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting business and/or technical reports.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in preparing presentation materials. 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
