Job Summary

In this role, you will lead complex, cross‑functional technical programs that support Porch’s Insurance initiatives, with a strong focus on home insurance platforms and workflows. You will partner closely with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to drive programs from planning through execution. This position plays a critical role in delivering scalable, compliant, and high‑quality technical solutions aligned with Porch’s business strategy and growth in the insurance domain.
What You Will Do As A Senior Technical Program Manager
• Lead strategic program planning for technical insurance initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps aligned with business strategy and insurance product goals
• Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, design, underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables
• Apply strong technical judgment to guide architecture discussions, technical decision‑making, and complex problem‑solving
• Identify program risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation and corrective action plans
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, updates, escalations, and change management
• Drive transparency and accountability across all workstreams through regular reporting and leadership updates
• Partner with engineering leaders to scope work, define dependencies, and manage resource allocation
• Ensure program deliverables meet business, technical, regulatory, and compliance standards
• Oversee testing, validation, documentation, and release readiness activities
• Understand system architecture and data flows to anticipate and resolve integration challenges
• Apply home insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration systems and regulatory requirements, to guide program decisions
• Monitor KPIs and program metrics, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring As A Senior Technical Program Manager
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including at least 4 years in the insurance domain
• Strong understanding of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex technical programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Proven experience working with US based business teams
• Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
• Working Hours: 8 Hours (Excluding breaks)
4 Core US Hours Overlap (7:30pm–11:30pm IST)
4 flexible hours (IST)
• Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: ₹26,25,000 – ₹36,75,000 INR Annually
