About the Role
Description
REPORTS TO: Director of Construction
HOURS: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
WORK LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN
COMPENSATION: $100k - 115k
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Develop, review and finalize construction documents for entitlement, permitting and construction. Maintain an adopted ownership mindset throughout the design and construction process
- Source and contract professional service agreements for design and engineering
- Manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, permits, and invoices
- Coordinate design drawings for procurement of structural steel with Supply Chain Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors/vendors; ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Communicate weekly project status to stakeholders
- Forecast monthly revenue, cost-to-complete, and margin protection and update and review project tracking software
- Audit document management services and creation of files for internal communication, and standard operating procedures
- Lead all client meetings, progress updates, and contract negotiations. Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis
- Oversee procurement, submittals, subcontractor agreements, and pay apps.
- Resolve conflicts, proactively manage risk, and escalate when needed
- Mentor Jr. PMs and delegate responsibilities effectively
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong negotiation and client facing communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets of $3M+
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Construction Project Management experience (5-7 years)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related areas: Construction Management, Real Estate, or Urban Planning
- Driver's License (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Moderate travel required
