Why should you join BMS team:
The BMS-team handles BMS, FMS, and PME for our Denmark projects. BMS (Building Management System) focuses on designing the control systems for HVAC in pharmaceutical clean rooms. FMS (Facility Monitoring System) is tasked with monitoring the conditions within these clean rooms. PME (Power Monitoring and Energy) oversees the electrical system. Our engineers get exposure to global design philosophies while working on the different phases of these projects.

How you might spend your days (Main Roles & Responsibilities)
As Senior BMS engineer, you’ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you’ll :

  • Support a group of colleagues in preparing engineering/technical project tasks.
  • Coordinate technical work.
  • Set out technical directions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.

You will lead the BMS design within pharmaceutical projects, ensuring the successful design, installation, and commissioning of BMS, FMS, and PME systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the discipline in all project sizes and phases (85%).

  • Planning and taking technical and financial responsibility for your discipline.
    ·
  • Ensuring interfaces and coordination with other disciplines.
    ·
  • Communicating scope of work changes to project management.
    ·
  • Ensuring disciplinary consistency, quality, and compliance.
    ·
  • Coordinating and supporting engineers within your discipline.
    ·
  • Contributing to the development of competence and employees (5-10%).
    ·
  • Providing on-the-job education to engineers to advance their careers.
    ·
  • Keeping up with technology trends within your technical discipline.
    ·
  • Reviewing the work of engineers in your discipline.
    ·
  • Sharing knowledge across projects for technical and project execution alignment.
    ·
  • Performing cost calculations, providing input for proposals, and reviewing costs for proposals.
    ·
  • Supporting the development of standards and guidelines.
    ·
  • Promoting NNE and identifying sales opportunities with customers.

Additionally, you will develop, and design engineered solutions to complex problems through individual contributions and by supporting teams of engineers.

The miles you’ve walked (Education and Work Experience)
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

Education

  • BE/BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electrical & Instrumentation engineering
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Professional Experience

  • ·Over 10 years of experience, with mastery in your discipline and knowledge of most other disciplines and their interfaces
  • Extensive pharma engineering experience, with a focus on your discipline
  • Project experience from Basic Design, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning/Qualification, and Handover
  • Some leadership experience, such as serving as a package lead through several projects.

Personal Profile

  • Capable of providing technical leadership and setting direction/standards within and in alignment with your technical discipline
  • Passionate about your technical discipline
  • Diligent in solving problems and completing work in a structured manner, proactively providing advice to customers.

Technical Skills

  • Preparing functional specifications for various HVAC systems in line with the URS
  • Finalizing control philosophies
  • Preparing IO lists
  • Keeping track of the Requirement Traceability Matrix
  • Conducting Design Engineering Review workshops
  • Preparing test protocols, test plans, and executing tests as necessary
  • Supporting the development, improvement, and optimization of processes within BMS

Leadership and Coaching Skills

  • Planning and progress evaluation skills at an overall discipline level
  • Financial and business understanding
  • Team player
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment.
