Syntegon Technology India Private Limited, based in Verna (Goa), is part of the Syntegon Group. In Verna we offer customized packaging solutions for the domestic and international markets in the food and non-food segments. Our colleagues design, manufacture and market vertical form, fill and seal machines, horizontal wrappers and secondary packaging equipment.

Job Description

  • QMS:  Maintain and update QMS ISO9001:2015 to ensure company wide compliance.
  • Audit Management : Prepare for and lead Internal and External Audits, including Supplier, Customer and Certification Audits.
  • Strategic Quality Leadership: Develop & Implement best practice quality visions, strategies, policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Inspection: Establish and oversee Inspection at various stages i.e. (Incoming, Inprocess and Final Inspection) to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Machinery Directives: Ensure product meets the safety standards as defined in the applicable directives
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions : Lead investigations into part and product defects, customer/assembly complains using 8D, six sigma, lean tools to ensure preventive actions
  • Development: Lead and manage the quality function from new product conception through to warranty analysis to ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible.
  • Supplier Quality Management : Collaborate with Engineering & Procurement to monitor supplier performance to ensure incoming parts meet specifications.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis : Analyze Quality Metrics, report on Key Performance Indicators to Senior Management And manage Quality budgets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives (5S, Suggestion Scheme, Six Sigma) to reduce waste, improve efficiency and enhance product quality. Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team, foster a culture of quality, and conduct performance reviews
  • Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor and manage the Quality team setting clear objectives and performance standards
  • Should be in Engineering - role SPCO. QMM is only “checking” authority

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • With 20+ years of experience in quality management experience preferably Capital Machinery/ Packaging Machineries /associated  Packaging Industry Like – Printers, Conveyors, Coders etc
  • Considerable and diverse demonstrable experience of leading a quality function with a proven track record in strategic quality leadership delivering effective quality strategies, policies, processes and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of machine building and product safety
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities
