Arctic Cat is adding a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly.


  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support assembly line activities from a Manufacturing Engineering perspective to drive improvements in productivity and quality. 
  • Support Manufacturing Engineers in confirming or studying time standards for accurate measurement of work performed.
  • Support production by creating recommendations for line efficiency improvement and cost savings.
  • Support operators and team leads in troubleshooting assembly and electrical issues.
  • Support the development of work instructions for new products or product changes.
  • Support root cause assessment of daily DPU drivers.
  • Maintain tooling on the floor to include smart tool programming, proper repair, labeling for tasks and stations, and quantity of tools available.
  • Maintain fixtures and racking on the floor to include basic repair, replacement, and redesign for new product.
  • Work on fixture and tooling design to support production efficiency and repeatability. 

Requirements

     

  • High School Diploma required, Technical Certification or Associates degree preferred.
  • 4 or more years of experience required, manufacturing or assembly environment experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, SAP, MES experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings required.
