Now Hiring: PRN CT/MRI Tech Assistant


Location: Orlando Center


Schedule: PRN (as needed)


Must be available to cover Saturdays and additional shifts as needed based on operational demands

Precision Imaging Centers is expanding and seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented CT/MRI Tech Assistant to support our Orlando team. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment while contributing to an exceptional patient experience.


Radiology background and/or experience with CT or MR imaging is strongly preferred.


Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.


Position Overview


As a PRN CT/MRI Tech Assistant, you will support technologists with daily imaging operations while helping ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment. You will play a key role in preparing patients, maintaining workflow, and supporting overall clinical excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support Duties

  • Assist CT and MRI Technologists with preparing patients for imaging procedures 
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams 
  • Perform IV starts as needed (training provided for qualified candidates) 
  • Maintain and restock imaging equipment and clinical areas 
  • Support documentation and workflow to optimize efficiency 

Patient Experience Support

  • Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all patients 
  • Assist with patient flow and communication between departments 
  • Reinforce a clean, organized, and patient-centered environment 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Radiology background and/or CT/MR experience strongly preferred 
  • Previous patient care, healthcare, or customer service experience is a plus 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
