About the Role
Description
Join the team at Lake Lawn Resort as a Cafe Attendant at the Isle of Capri Café. In this role, you’ll prepare coffee drinks, food items, and provide friendly, fast service to guests looking for a quick bite or beverage on the go.
Position Details

What You’ll Do
- Greet guests, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations
- Take and process food and beverage orders (cash and card)
- Prepare coffee drinks (including lattes), cold beverages, sandwiches, and pizzas
- Serve orders quickly and accurately
- Maintain inventory levels of café supplies and bakery items
- Clean and sanitize counters, tables, and café areas
- Stock and organize kitchen and service areas
- Balance register and complete end-of-shift cash handling
- Assist with daily supply orders and restocking
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous café, barista, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for food prep and beverage service
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Work Environment
- Indoor café setting within a high-volume resort
