Prairie Band Health Services is in need of a Nurse Practitioner to provide services at Ute Health Center (UMUHC) in Towaoc, Colorado.

Nurse Practitioner Services to be provided shall include, but are not limited to: 

1. Provide a full range of medical services including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation & referral, specialty referrals for outpatients of all ages. 

2. Serve on the Patient Centered Medical Home team. 

3. Makes referral recommendations to the Clinical Director as required ensuring appropriate specialty care, follow-up, continuity of care and ensuring appropriate forms are completed. 

4. Participates in treatment planning with the medical department and for individual patients.

Requirements

  

  • Active, Unrestricted Medical License: Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in      any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Certifications: Must have current certifications in:
  1. Basic life Support (BLS)
  2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  4. Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Minimum Experience:  3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
  • Federal Security Clearance: Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
