About the Role
Description
The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a smooth and pleasant stay experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Process check-ins and check-outs accurately using the hotel management system
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions in Portland, Maine
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Handle cash, billing, and payment processing securely
- Uphold brand standards associated with Hilton Worldwide
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (experience with hotel software is a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
