About the Role

Description

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a smooth and pleasant stay experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner 
  • Process check-ins and check-outs accurately using the hotel management system 
  • Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and room assignments 
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly 
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions in Portland, Maine 
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness 
  • Handle cash, billing, and payment processing securely 
  • Uphold brand standards associated with Hilton Worldwide 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Basic computer skills (experience with hotel software is a plus) 
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
