Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an Echocardiology Technician for a full-time acute care role in Hot Springs, Arkansas within a cardiology services department.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Performs echocardiography procedures in an acute care setting
• Works within cardiology services team
• Supports physicians with diagnostic imaging

COMPENSATION
• Salary Range: $59,259 – $89,107

SCHEDULE
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 50/50 call requirement for nights and weekends

ROLE
• Perform ECHO procedures according to professional standards
• Review patient history and prepare patients for procedures
• Educate patients on procedures
• Administer contrast media when ordered
• Monitor patient status during procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Ensure safety and quality control standards
• Analyze imaging results and address quality concerns
• Enter and transmit reports and scan results

ENVIRONMENT
• Acute care hospital setting
• Cardiology services department
• Fast-paced clinical environment

Requirements

• Cardiac Sonography training REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• Echo Registry certification preferred OR registry-eligible (must obtain within one year)
• Carotid training preferred
• Associate’s Degree preferred
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently REQUIRED
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment REQUIRED
